I ask for a 25% retainer and signed photography contract to officially reserve your wedding / session date, with the remaining balance due one month before the big day (or due the day-of for sessions). Alternative payment plans are available if needed.
How do I book?
When you book, the date belongs to you. I can extend photography coverage as much as needed! Additional hourly coverage can also be prorated to 30 minutes. You will receive a supplemental invoice after the coverage ends - this payment is due in full before receiving sneak peeks or full galleries.
What if I book a certain amount of time, but end up wanting more day-of?
All the photos you receive will be edited for color, contrast, and overall style to match the aesthetic you see here on my website, or on my Instagram. Some "additional retouching" time is included with all photo packages and is an opportunity for you to request specific changes. Commonly requested changes are things like: color / black & white conversion, flyaway hairs, wrinkles in clothes, swapping / combining expressions in group photos, and more. Got some little thing bugging you about your favorite photo? Just ask!
What is the difference between "edited photos" and "additional retouching"?
I work with a handful of talented associate photographers whose availability depends on the location and date. They are vetted photographers I trust, and know their quality of work is similar to mine. I edit my own images as well as theirs to ensure consistency in your collection.
Who is your 2nd photographer?
First, you'll receive at least 15-20+ sneak peek photos within 2-3 business days.
If your photo package was 4 hours or shorter, your gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks. If your photo package was longer than 4 hours, your gallery will be ready within 4-6 weeks.
Sometimes turnaround times are shorter - it depends on the season and current editing backlog.
When will my photos be ready?
I deliver at least 75-100+ final, edited images for every hour of coverage. The number of photos delivered will vary a bit depending on how many photographers you hire, as well as how much "action" there is day-of. Most clients receive more than the minimum guaranteed amount outlined here.

I live in Santa Barbara, California and my local range (no travel fees) includes any location within 50 miles of the following areas:
